Good podcast. Keep up the good work.

Wow, you guy have reference a bunch of the classes as over powered. Even Psi-Stalkers. Really, Psi-Stalkers? I can't wrap my head around how low powered you games must be. Alhtough, I allow just about anything in games. I haven't really found anything other than dragons, godlings, and cosmo knights as too powerful.

Another fine show. I was riveted...ok maybe just stapled, but it was bitchen. Sad to hear you are taking a break from Palladium stuff. Also, don't fret about the long time between shows...life gets in the way alas.

Gamewise, I've trimmed the fat and just do Palladium stuff...D&D whatever edition can suck my balls.

Oh and your comment about gamers not being able to pull down babes, well let me assure you some of us can. I've got a hot, young thang (who is often mistaken for a daughter rather than GF)...yeah I'm an old fucker. One who craves young she-juices. By my greying beard you can tell they have a bleaching effect.

Anyhoo...you guys rock and I hearby award ye with the Smell My Finger Podcast Excellence Award. There is no actual award, just be secure with the knowledge that there is a game geek out there with a stinky pinky who digs your mad ramblings.

Oh and you should watch out with your 'faggot' comments....there are more than a few homosexual gamers around here who might not have thick skin.

Carry On,
Kevin aka MCD

Very very giga-kool that you guys are focussing on Palladium stuff. I just got back from a brutally awesome weekend of gaming at the Open House. I listened to the latest podcast twice and didn't have issue with anything you said. Other than your claim about being an award winning podcast.

Gaah. Another. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness RPG was a product Palladium Books done upon a license agreement with Mirage Studios, which was also based in Detroit; Kev was good friends with Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird as they went to all the same conventions. The license was for an RPG and supplements, nothing more. There was no litigation/potential litigation between Palladium and Bandai or any other party regarding this license, but it was eventually dropped because the popularity of the Turtles waned, largely due to the 'kidification' of the property by the cartoon and subsequent toys.

Sorry, listening to the show while generating characters for the HU game I'm running at the Open House next week and catching things along the way.

Recon was not the first game published by Palladium, The Mechanoid Trilogy was, in comic book form. RECON was independently published by RPG, Inc. in 1981, and later picked up by Palladium.

Great show, just one complaint. There is no Game Masters Guide for RIFTS, its the Game MASTER Guide, as in the MASTER guide to the game. A Game MasterS Guide is like a Dungeon Masters Guide, in that it has information exclusively for a Game Master, and that is not at all what the RIFTS Game Master Guide is about.

Hey guys, great show. Really easy to listen to. Just thought I'd pop in. My name is Matthew Daye (my name is already out there so no point hiding it) and I'm the host of the currently hiatus'd Gateway to the Megaverse. If you guys would like I would be more than willing to do the 'special guest' bit to chat about palladium and the games.

You guys are still doing a nice job. Nice to see other Palladium fans out there. There is a lot of Palladium-hating that goes on out there in the gaming oommunity...not sure why. Palladium doesn't get the respect they deserve...30 years same owner/creative genius, no major money grab system overhauls and very entertaining products.

Hey guys, I like the podcast but I think you made a couple errors in this one, no big deal just thought I'd try to clear some things up. Kevin Siembieda is not an original author of TMNT, he cowrote the RPG version with eric wujick (I think it was primarily Wujick actually, he just made it so that it fit with the palladium megaversal rules), but the Kevin who is working with Micheal Bay isn't Siembieda, it's Eastmain, he was the original artist and coauthor with Laird. The comic series developed by them (pre animated series) was ultra violent and gory. One scene I can remember in particular is of Rapheal mowed down a bunch of thugs with an Uzi...pretty cool, plus they all wore red masks and splinter spent a lot of time trying to get them to show restraint. I agree though, the changes in the origin story you discuss are just plain wrong, anyways, keep it up.
